Unbox the Printer and remove the plastic cover and packaging items.
Once the power button is switched on, the printer will begin initializing and make a whirring noise.
The Control Panel will ask you to choose a language. Select the preferred language, touch Yes to confirm and proceed to the next part of the Setup. Follow the same step to select your Country or region and continue with the Setup after touching Confirm.
Set date and time and touch Continue after each step to progress further.

Installing the cartridges

There’s no chance of a wrong cartridge being inserted into any slot because the slots only admit cartridges having the same colour as them.
After the process is complete, the printer will check if the cartridges were correctly installed and prompt the user to load paper.
Loading Paper
Slide out the Paper Input Tray, pull out the blue paper length guide and load a batch of unused, aligned sheets into the printer.
After adjusting the paper length and width guides, slide the paper tray back into position and touch OK on the Instant Ink Prompts
Now, touch Continue to proceed initializing the printer. This may take a while.
The printer will automatically align the printhead after the initialization and print an alignment page.
Go to 123.hp.com/setup. Enter the name of your printer model and hit Enter. Click Download to begin downloading software from 123.hp.com/setup
